INTRODUCING A GREAT MAYO BASED COUNTRY TRIO

You who are on the road
Must have a code that you can live by
And so become yourself
Because the past is just a good bye.

Teach your children well,
Their father's hell did slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams
The one they picked, the one you'll know by.

Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,
So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.

And you, of tender years,
Can't know the fears that your elders grew by,
And so please help them with your youth,
They seek the truth before they can die.

Teach your parents well,
Their children's hell will slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams
The one they picked, the one you'll know by.

Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,
So just look at them and sigh and know they love you

When long time Daniel 'O Donnell pedal steel player, Roy Campbell, got together with multi instrumentalist, Sam Moore, the result was an eclectic mix of many country influences.

The addition of vocalist / drummer, Ken Astill, from the 'wider world' of rock and pop music, has brought a new edge to this band, and resulted in some polished recordings and vibrant live performances.

A recent 4 track CD, released to raise money for a local cancer charity, has generated a lot of interest, including plays on local radio station, 'Midwest'. Work is now under way, on a new 16 track album.

The diverse musical tastes of the band's members, has thrown up some intriguing song selections for the recordings. In addition to 'Irish Country', 'Bluegrass', 'Modern Country', and a number of self penned titles, there are some innovative 'Country Style' arrangements of 50's and 60's classic songs, that will all feature pedal steel guitar, and harmony vocals.

All in all, this new band represents a refreshing addition to the Irish country music scene.
